Professional audio, video, live production, talent, backline, and consulting services throughout Northern Virginia, the DMV, and beyond.

The rates below represent standard commercial pricing and starting points for project planning. Productions involving expanded equipment, large ensembles, additional personnel, travel, specialized venues, unusual logistics, security-sensitive environments, or complex deliverables are quoted individually.

Fox & Anchor also provides discretionary support to selected artists, music education programs, nonprofit organizations, and community productions.

Audio Production

From individual artists and small ensembles to full-band sessions, location recording, concert bands, and complex multichannel productions, Fox & Anchor provides recording and post-production services built around the needs of the project.

Standard Recording Scope

Standard studio pricing assumes a conventional recording session of up to five performers and up to 16 simultaneous recording inputs.

Sessions requiring expanded input counts, additional microphone deployment, specialty equipment, additional engineering personnel, or unusually complex setup are quoted separately.


Large Ensemble & Location Recording

Concert bands, orchestras, choirs, marching ensembles, theatrical productions, and other large-format multichannel recordings require significantly greater equipment deployment, preparation, staffing, and post-production than a conventional studio session.

Live Sound / Front of House

Fox & Anchor provides FOH and monitor engineering, system deployment, calibration, performance support, and live recording integration for concerts, theatrical productions, festivals, marching bands, rehearsals, and organizational events.



Large-ensemble pricing is based on production scope, simultaneous input and microphone requirements, venue, equipment deployment, setup and strike, redundancy and backup requirements, crew, recording duration, post-production, and final deliverables.

Standard studio pricing does not apply to large-format recording deployments.

Video Production

Fox & Anchor provides video production for concerts, performances, art programming, interviews, promotional content, multi-camera productions, and platform-ready media.

Services may include filming, synchronized audio, editing, color finishing, motion graphics, titles, packaging, and platform-specific deliverables.




Production Time

Billable production time may include load-in, equipment deployment, setup, patching, system tuning, line check, soundcheck, performance, troubleshooting, strike, and load-out.

Equipment, additional personnel, transportation, and specialty production requirements are billed separately unless specifically included in the project estimate.

Because finished video productions vary significantly in complexity, most multi-camera and post-intensive work is priced by project rather than strictly by the hour.




Musician & Talent Services

Fox & Anchor can provide rehearsal support, coordinate musical personnel, assist with sectionals, and contract musicians appropriate to the needs of a production.

Musician compensation is separate from Fox & Anchor's contracting, coordination, and production fees.



Backline & Equipment Support

Fox & Anchor maintains professional backline and production equipment for select productions and trusted regional organizations.

Backline and equipment rentals are priced individually based on equipment, duration, deployment requirements, delivery, setup, technical support, and production scope.

Availability is limited and subject to project requirements.

Rights & Licensing

Fox & Anchor can assist with production-oriented rights and licensing research, frameworks, coordination, and administrative guidance.

These services do not constitute legal advice. Projects requiring formal legal opinions or representation should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel.

Safety & Security-Sensitive Productions

Fox & Anchor's services in this area focus on production safety planning, logistical coordination, access planning, agency and venue liaison, operational support, and risk-aware production management.

These services are not private guard or law-enforcement services.




Community, Education & Artist Support

Supporting music education, independent artists, community organizations, and worthwhile creative projects remains an important part of Fox & Anchor's mission.

When appropriate, Fox & Anchor may provide discretionary Community, Education, or Artist Support Credits against standard commercial rates.

These reductions are determined individually based on the organization, project, scope, scheduling, available resources, and F&A's ability to support the work.

Commercial rates remain the basis for establishing the actual value of the services provided.







Booking & Deposits

A 25% booking deposit is required to reserve scheduled production dates and services.

A production date is not considered reserved until the applicable deposit and required booking information have been received.

Project-specific requirements involving talent, equipment rentals, travel, permits, lodging, third-party vendors, or specialty production services may require additional advance commitments.








Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellations made 14 calendar days or less before the scheduled service date will forfeit the booking deposit.

Approved rescheduling requested more than 14 days before the scheduled date may allow the deposit to be transferred to a new production date, subject to availability.

Cancellations made within 72 hours, client no-shows, or cancellations occurring after substantial production preparation has begun may be billed at 50% of the contracted minimum or project rate.

Non-refundable expenses or commitments already made on behalf of the client remain the client's responsibility. These may include talent, equipment rentals, travel, lodging, permits, third-party vendors, specialty services, or other project-specific expenses.

Major productions may require project-specific cancellation terms stated in the estimate or production agreement.









Additional Production Terms

Travel outside Fox & Anchor's normal service area may be quoted separately. Parking, tolls, lodging, airfare, permits, and similar production expenses may be billed or reimbursed at cost.

Rush or priority work may incur a 25–50% expedited-production surcharge, depending on turnaround requirements and existing scheduling commitments.

Additional crew, specialty equipment, rentals, vendors, and third-party services are billed separately unless specifically included in the estimate.

Client-caused production delays remain billable when Fox & Anchor personnel, equipment, or contracted resources are being held for the production.

The number of included revisions for editing, mixing, graphics, or finished media will be identified in the project estimate. Additional revisions or changes outside the approved scope are billed at the applicable hourly rate.

Raw recordings, camera originals, session files, project files, stems, or other source materials are not automatically included as deliverables unless specifically stated in the project agreement.

Storage and archival availability may vary by project. Clients requiring long-term archival or guaranteed retention should discuss those requirements before production begins.

Music licenses, synchronization licenses, mechanical licenses, performance rights, stock media, third-party intellectual property, and other licensing costs are separate from Fox & Anchor's production and administrative consulting fees.

Clients may be responsible for loss of or damage to rented or deployed equipment when applicable under the individual production agreement.

Outdoor and weather-dependent events may require project-specific postponement or rescheduling terms.

Applicable taxes will be added when required by law.
